Gears of War 2, Red Dead Redemption, and More Become Xbox One X Enhanced; Watch Them in Action

Today Microsoft announced that Gears of War 2, Red Dead RedemptionPortal 2Sonic GenerationsDarksiders, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are getting the Xbox One X enhanced treatment via backward compatibility today.

According to the announcement made during the second episode of Inside XboxGears of War 2 runs at 4K on Microsoft’s console, but even more interestingly, all DLC for the game will be free from now on. Incidentally, the game is on Game Pass, of if you subscribe to the service, you can fire it up right now.

Enhancements also include 10-bit colors, better frame rate, and crisper textures.
