A swath of solar eclipse-themed promotions has flashed across our eyes over the past month. Today, Trion Worlds made it clear that it would not be left in the dark on such an opportunity, announcing that a new, themed update has released for the free-to-play voxel MMORPG Trove.

The Trove Eclipse Update released today with many additions to the game, all themed around the momentous celestial event. Among two new Shadow Tower floors introducing enemies such as the Shadow Hydrakken and Daughter of the Moon, Subclass unlocks at level 10, a Trove map, and a gem forging system, Trove will also have available many new daily bonuses for players to hunt down. If you’re interested in the full patch notes, you can find them in the Trove forums.

Trove originally released for PC back in July 2015. The base game includes fourteen playable classes, an open world filled with craftable items and environmental construction/deconstruction mechanics.

Back in June, Trove‘s PlayStation 4 version received the Megalithic Update, which introduced a Dino Tamer class, the Jurassic Jungle Biome, two new mini-games (racing and coin collecting), and loads of other free content that players could receive by logging in daily.

Trove is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Eclipse Update has been released on all three platforms. For more information on the game, you can visit its official website or you can check out its Steam page. You can see the full launch trailer for the Trove Eclipse Update below.
