Fortnite x Bendy and the Ink Machine Teaser Explained – Are we getting skins?

Fortnite has been one of those battle royale games that has remained on the top pretty much since the inception of the genre. Epic Games regularly releases major updates for the game, and the hype around those ensure that the playerbase is engaged.

One of the most interesting aspects of the game is the various collaborations that take place. Recently, the Batman x Fortnite Zero Point was released and that gave players a chance to earn an in-game cosmetic via a redeemable code.

Today, the official Twitter account of Fortnite has dropped another teaser which has got fans wondering about the next probably collaboration in the game. Posting a tweet on their official handle, Epic Games wrote the following,

It looks like curiosity sure got the best of this cat. What kind of trouble is our pal Meowscles getting into now?

Alongside that, a picture was also posted which one of the characters skins in the game, Meowscles, in a cartoon-themed art style. As soon as the tweet was posted, players couldn’t help but draw resemblances with Bendy and the Ink Machine.

For those who are unaware, is quite a popular episodic survival horror game that was launched back in 2017. It is available on multiple platforms. The titular protagonist of the game seems quite similar to the ink-styled Meowscles we see in the teaser.

It should be noted that the comic version of Meowscles, Peely, and Fishstick has already been teased in the game via a spray. A leak also stated that the skins of these versions exist in the game files. That being said, the Bendy relations do make sense and the creators of Bendy and the Ink Machine have also acknowledged that. In a tweet, it wrote,

How… familiar. Nope, we didn’t “invent ink” or “rubberhose” but pretty sure that scary ink turning people into cartoon versions sounds pretty #BENDY to me. As always, I wish @FortniteGame and their players nothing but luck and happiness.

With all signs pointing towards a Bendy collaboration, we might as well get an in-game skin pretty soon.
