A brand new Fortnite update will be deployed today (July 27), with a small patch that will be required to download before players can drop back in. v17.21 of Fortnite is expected to bring even further content to the game, and possibly even some details about the heavily rumored Ariana Grande concert.
Various Fortnite leakers have revealed that there may be an Ariana Grande concert taking place in Fortnite very soon, similar to the previous Travis Scott and Marshmello concerts.
Reliable Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, believes that today’s (July 27) Fortnite update will add the necessary files for the upcoming concert. Hopefully, this means that more details should follow after the update goes live.

Fortnite v17.21 – Server Downtime Schedule
Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite will be taken offline for a short period of time in order to prepare for the v17.21 update.
According to the Fortnite Status Twitter Account, services will be disabled beginning at the following times:
- 12:30AM PT
- 3:30AM ET
- 8:30AM BST
Matchmaking is then expected to be completely disabled 30 minutes later. Although it has not been revealed how long server downtime will last today, it usually ranges anywhere between 1 and 2 hours.
