It has gotten to the point with the Battle Royale behemoth Fortnite that anything is up on the table to make its way to the game. We’ve seen ridiculous things that I never thought would or could be a reality in the video game space. There has been a wide caliber of collaborations whether it be an event or cosmetics and now it looks like rapper Travis Scott will have some part to play in Fortnite sometime soon.

Lucas7yoshi who is known for leaking information about the game ahead of time has found the rapper’s name while data mining. Based on his post it appears that Travis Scott will be implemented into a cosmetics set which was added with the 12.00 version update, but has yet to be released to players. In the past Fortnite has added a cosmetic set for DJ duo Major Lazer among other popular collaborations like Marvel, Star Wars, and more recently, Harley Quinn. It is also completely plausible that in the future there will be a Travis Scott concert event similar to what Marshmello has done previously.
Honestly, I have no idea what a Travis Scott cosmetic is supposed to look like, but I’m cool with it. I don’t play Fornite, but I am a fan. I love seeing how they try to top themselves and make unexpected collaborations. You can never predict what Epic Games will do next which is exciting for me and I’m sure is exciting for fans. Fortnite continues to be the biggest game in the world which I don’t see changing anytime soon, but I’m glad that I get to sit by the sidelines and see what they will do next.
