Fortnite is no stranger to collaborations, previously teaming up with Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and even famous musicians such as Travis Scott and Marshmello.
Now it looks like another sporting collaboration is on the cards for Fortnite, that’s if recent leaks are to be believed. According to Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, Lebron James will be the next Icon Series Skin to release in Fortnite. Here’s everything we know about the basketball legend joining the massive Battle Royale.

Fortnite Leaks Reveal Lebron James Skin
ShiinaBR, a trusted and reliable source when it comes to all things Fortnite, revealed on Twitter that Lebron James would be the next Icon Series Skin.
This is something that has been rumoured for some time. Ever since the court case of Apple v Epic Games, when a document was revealed showcasing possible collaborations in Fortnite. Big names were shown in the document, such as The Rock, Naruto, and Neymar Jr.
Of course, some of the collaborations in the document have come to fruition, such as the recently released Neymar Jr skin. In the document, the Lebron James Icon Series Skin was listed as ‘Q4 2020’, which has now passed.
So it looks like Epic Games may be running slightly behind schedule, or things have simply been changed since the document was put together. But it looks like fans won’t have to wait much longer for the new Lebron James skin in Fortnite.
Fellow Fortnite leaker, TweaBR, revealed that the Lebron James skin will be available in the next major content update, v17.20. There will also be various quests attached to the skin for players to complete:
- Earn rewards by completing King’s Bling quests
- Gold Quest Bundle: Items become more gold as you complete quests! Unlock a custom goldness slider when all quests are complete!
How To Get & Expected Price
If the leaks are to be believed, the Lebron James Icon Series Skin will release in v17.20 and will be purchasable from the Fortnite Item Shop.
No price has been leaked, but as the skin is part of the Icon Series set, we can expect it to cost either 1,500 or 2,000 V-Bucks. This is based on previous Icon Series Skin prices.
