How Do You Get The Breathless Blades?
Unfortunately, unlike a lot of the other cosmetic items in Fortnite, you can’t get your hands on the Breathless Blades through the Battle Pass or the Item Shop. Instead, you must have either placed first in the Hearts Wild Team Battles or have completed any of the Hearts Wild Quests.
If you’ve already completed the Hearts Wild Quest, you might have noticed the Harvesting Tool has appeared in your inventory today (March 18), that’s because Epic Games has only just got around to dishing out the Breathless Blades to those that completed the challenge.
But what is the Hearts Wild Quest?

Hearts Wild was an event that took place in Fortnite back in February of this year (2021). More specifically, it began on February 8 and ended on February 15. The event was a valentine’s theme, and there was a lot of cosmetic items up for grabs.
If players wanted to receive the Breathless Blades they were required to complete all of the Week 11 Epic Quests that were available. You can find what these quests were below.
- Catch different kinds of Fish to find a Hearts Wild date for Fishstick – 20,000 XP
- Serve Fishstick and his date a fancy dinner at any restaurant – 20,000 XP
- Find a rose at Steel Farm or The Orchard – 20,000 XP
- Collect Grimbles’ love potion from Fort Crumpet, Coral Cove or Stealthy Stronghold – 20,000 XP
- Deliver the love potion to Slurpy Swamp or Shanty Town – 20,000 XP
- Collect chocolate boxes from Pleasant Park, Holly Hedges, or Retail Row – 20,000 XP
- Help Lovely celebrate Hearts Wild! – 20,000 XP
Breathless Blades Harvesting Tool
If you completed the Epic Quests for the Hearts Wild event, you should have received the Breathless Blades in your inventory today (March 18). If you haven’t, and you completed all of the quests above, you may need to contact Epic Games.
