Nintendo has announced that the upcoming action musou title Fire Emblem Warriors will launching on October 20 for Nintendo Switch and New 3DS in Europe and scheduled for Fall in North America. The game will release in Japan on September 28.

Additionally, Nintendo released a new trailer showing cinematic gameplay along with introducing the game’s premise. Fire Emblem Warriors is based in a universe where the worlds of the Fire Emblem franchise are connected bringing classic characters together in one game.

The game features an original story where the heroes must stand up against the Chaos Dragon and save the world. It’s a game created for fans of the series, but the original storyline might be reason enough for fans of only musou titles to be introduced to the Fire Emblem series, which is originally a strategy RPG game.

Fire Emblem Warriors barrows much of the musou gameplay systems, including facing off against hordes of enemies and completing missions. The game also features bonding scenes where players can learn more about the characters through a series of events.

Sadly, the 3DS version of the game has yet to receive a dedicated trailer, but you can check out a recent trailer showing Cordelia in action, a video showing the bond system, the same in screenshots, and read our hands-on preview from E3 2017.
