Today Square Enix hosted an active time report broadcast with Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata and Global Brand Director Akio Ofuji, mostly dedicated to recapping what was showcased at E3.

During the broadcast, we learned that Square Enix has opted not to disclose some information during E3, and is instead planning “large scale” things for the summer. Tabata-san mentioned that the team has been very busy to make sure that they have a good presentation at Gamescom.

At the moment we don’t know whether the news that will be shared at Gamescom will only be about the upcoming Episode Ignis DLC and the multiplayer expansion, or there will be more.

That’s not all, as Tabata-san also revealed that Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV isn’t the only virtual reality experience the team is currently working on. There is at least one other, and it’ll be focused not on fishing, but on battle content.

You can see the full recording of the Active Time Report below.

If you want to see more, you can check out some lovely screenshots from the upcoming DLC Episode Prompto, a new trailer, and gameplay footage.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One. Episode Prompto will release on June 27th for both platforms.

Gamescom will be held between August 22nd and August 26th, and DualShockers will be there, ready to relay everything we learn about this.
