Far Cry 5 is only a few months away and set to bring players into one of the franchise’s wildest settings yet — America — but for those that want to dip back into the series’ history a bit, one of the series’ best installments is heading over to the current-gen: Far Cry 3.

Ubisoft has announced the release of Far Cry 3: Classic Edition, which will bring over the acclaimed 2012 open-world shooter to PS4 and Xbox One this summer.

In the announcement trailer for the game’s new release, Ubisoft revealed that the title will be available as a free bonus to players in the Season Pass for Far Cry 5 (which is also included in the game’s “Gold Edition”) four weeks early, which means that the title will likely be a standalone release after Far Cry 5 Season Pass owners get their hands on the release. PC players that purchase the Season Pass for Far Cry 5 will receive Far Cry 3 as well.

While no pricing information or specific release date have been revealed yet for the standalone release just yet, personally I’d love to jump back into Far Cry 3, as it’s easily one of the best open-world titles I’ve played, and set the standard for the series moving forward since it was first released.
