Fallout 76 Stress Test to Take Place this Weekend for Some Xbox Insiders

Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, Fallout 76, News, PC, Xbox One

Ahead of the closed beta later this month, Bethesda today announced that some users on Xbox One will be able to dive into Fallout 76 as soon as this weekend.

Fallout 76 stress test will be held in the North American region this weekend on Xbox One and will allow a small number of players to test things out before the beta goes live. To gain access to this test, you’ll need to be apart of the Xbox Insider program in addition to having pre-ordered Fallout 76 on your console.

If you have done both of these things, log-in to the Xbox Insider portal to see if you have been chosen to participate this weekend. Even if you have done both of these tasks, there’s still a chance that you may not be able to join in. The selection process seems to be at random. If you do happen to get in, the stress test will begin on Saturday, October 13.

Even if you aren’t asked to jump in this time around, the actual beta for Xbox One users who have pre-ordered will begin on October 23 with those on other platforms being able to play themselves the following week on October 30. To hold you over until that time, be sure to read our recent preview of Fallout 76 after we were able to go hands-on with it recently.

And in case you don’t want to jump into any of these pre-launch tests or betas, you won’t have to wait too much longer until the full game is out. Fallout 76 will release next month on November 14 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
