Late last month, I reported on an ambitious mod, which is trying to recreate Fallout: New Vegas using Fallout 4’s game engine. This week, the team has unveiled a new video, which not only shows us the progression of the project but also spotlights several notable gameplay moments featured from the 2010 title.

The less than three-minute-long video shows the player entering Goodsprings Source where they begin a shotgun fight with a settler in the newly discovered location. Although this video is a bit of a tease for what’s to come one of the most noteworthy things that did make an appearance in the teaser video was the return of New Vegas‘ karma system. For those of you unaware the Karma mechanic was a primary gameplay mechanic in Fallout: New Vegas and serves as a reflection of all good and evil choices you make during your playthrough and of how the wasteland’s inhabitants perceive your character.

Currently, Fallout 4: New Vegas does not have a release date, but, if you are interested in learning more about the development of the project, check out the team’s official Facebook and Twitter pages. Or if you think you could lend a hand, check out the mod team’s application form.

Fallout 4 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Check out the new video below:
