Koei Tecmo published a short but nice trailer for Fairy Tail RPG, showing in action the game’s bonus costumes included in the Digital Deluxe version. We’ve got the Grand Magic Games team costumes, a bonus Lacrima set, and a Ryza cosplay costume for Lucy. First print copies of the game, digital or physical, regular or limited, will also net players a super cute Miss Fairy Tail costume for Erza.

Incidentally, another trailer was published by Koei Tecmo at New Game Expo +. That one technically didn’t show us anything new and goes over all the game mechanics we previously covered. You can get a good look at all costumes in Fairy Tail RPG with both videos below.

A cute Yurison Raid with Erza and Mirajane was also shared on Twitter; Besides its costumes, Fairy Tail RPG has multiple original Unison Raids created for the game.

As a side note, the game has a physical limited edition in Japan with an Erza + Lucy + Wendy swimsuit poster. You can check it out here along with some OST samples. This physical Limited Edition, titled the Guild Box, was announced in Europe and my own country France, but not in America.

Fairy Tail by Gust was delayed twice in total, which actually isn’t extraordinary at all when it comes to Gust games or Japanese games in general, who get delayed all the time to “further improve the game’s quality”. This year in particular was extraordinary though, with the covid-19 pandemic forcing developers to remote work, slowing down their progress. Fairy Tail was first announced in September 2019 by Koei Tecmo, ahead of Tokyo Game Show. The game was first slated for March 19, but got delayed to June 25. The second delay was revealed in May.

Fairy Tail will be out in Japan and PC on July 30, and on Switch and PS4 worldwide on July 31. You can preorder it on Amazon to support us.
