Known for its run and gun shooting mechanics and roguelike elements, developer Dodge Roll’s acclaimed Enter the Gungeon became one of last year’s breakout indie hits across consoles and PC, as the title has now crossed an impressive sales milestone.
Developer Dodge Roll Games announced that Enter the Gungeon has crossed over one million in sales across its versions on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux, with the studio thanking fans for their support of the title since its release in spring of last year.
Aside from the versions already available on consoles and PC for the title, a Nintendo Switch version of the game is also on the horizon at some point in the future, while the studio teased on Twitter “more Gungeon coming soon…”. Whether that means we’ll see the Switch version of the game soon or more of the game itself through DLC, an expansion or more is unclear, but hopefully with the game’s new sales milestone, it means we’ll see more of Enter the Gungeon in one way, shape, or form.
Enter the Gungeon is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux, with a Nintendo Switch version of the title currently in development.
