Dragon’s Crown Pro for PS4 Gets Gorgeous Screenshots and Limited Edition

Atlus, Dragon’s Crown – Pro, Originals, PS Vita, PS4

Today Atlus released a new collection of screenshots and artwork of the upcoming PS4 remaster of Dragon’s Crown, aptly titled Dragon’s Crown Pro.

We get to see the characters that we’ll be able to choose in the game, including screenshots, artwork, and the lovely 2D sprites designed by Vanillaware. The classes included will be the same as in the original game: fighter, amazon, sorceress, elf, wizard and dwarf.

They certainly closely remind the classic Dungeons & Dragons archetypes, and I would give an arm for the addition of a cleric, but it doesn’t seem to be happening at least for now.

We also get a look at the Royal Package limited edition, that includes three soundtrack CDs with a new orchestral score and a booklet.

You can check all the screenshots and artwork in the gallery below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent trailer, the first gameplay videos and the first screenshots. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you can also read my original review of the PS3 version from 2013.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will release in Japan on February 8th, 2018 exclusively for PS4. At the moment, no western release has been announced, but I would be very disappointed if Atlus USA did not bring this game this side of the Pacific Ocean. And you don’t want to see me very disappointed.
