Disintegration is the upcoming first-person shooter from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto and the debut game from his V1 Interactive studio. Along with publisher Private Division, V1 Interactive will be hosting a closed multiplayer technical beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Sign-ups for the beta are now open.  A public beta will follow soon after, beginning on January 31 and lasting through February 1, also on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Both betas will allow players to test two out of the three multiplayer game modes that will be available in the full game at launch.

In Retrieval, the first game mode, players compete in two rounds in which one team attempts to deliver a payload which can only be carried by their ground crew while the other team defends. In the second game mode, Control, two teams contend for domination over assorted capture points. Players must ensure their ground crew are alive and within the zone as this is the only way to accumulate points to win the match.

Players will be able to play with seven of the final game’s unique crews in the beta, including the damage-boosting Tech Noir or the nuke-launching Warhedz. The purpose of the beta tests will be to ensure stability and collect feedback for when Disintegration launches sometime later this year.

The beta times are as follows:

Tuesday,  January 28, 2020, 8 AM PT – 11:59 PT

Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 8 AM PT – 11:59 PT

The open technical beta will start Friday, January 31, 2020, at 10 AM and run through until Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 11:59 PM.
