Detroit: Become Human Has Sold More Than 2 Million Copies Since Release

Detroit: Become Human, News, Originals, PS4, Quantic Dream, Sony

Following its launch back in May of this year, Sony and Quantic Dream have today announced that Detroit: Become Human has sold through more than 2 million copies since this time.

While this might not be the same staggering numbers that fellow first-party PS4 games like God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man have seen this year, for a more story-centric experience that wasn’t expected to have as wide of an appeal, these sales are actually pretty impressive. Considering that the PS4 install base is nearly 90 million and how well-received Detroit: Become Human was at release, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the game has found success.

Furthermore, Quantic Dream also announced that these sales have now made Detroit: Become Human the company’s fastest-selling game to date. Quantic Dream thanked fans for making Detroit such a success on Twitter today along with acknowledging PlayStation and the studio’s team of developers for making this possible.

If you still haven’t picked up Detroit: Become Human for yourself, it recently saw a permanent price drop down to $39.99. It’s also available in a bundle right now with Quantic Dream’s other narrative-driven adventure games Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls for the same price of $39.99.
