NIS America announced the western release date for the dungeon crawling RPG Demon Gaze II, which is now set to launch in North America and Europe on November 14 and November 17, 2017, respectively, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita .

Being a sequel to 2014’s Demon Gaze, Demon Gaze II borrows many of the dungeon crawling elements introduced in the first game. However, many of the mechanics have been improved including the story by featuring a large cast of characters and a more interesting premise.

Players will assume the role of main protagonist Signa as he gains the power of the “Evil Eye” and becomes the new “Demon Gazer”. His mission is to head the revolution of his people, due to the corrupt government of his region, Asteria.

Demon Gaze II is set several years after the events of the first game and features many new demon types that are new to the series and named after constellations. The Demon Gazer has the ability to combine his and the demon’s powers to unlock new skills in battle. Players will be able to create their own party to take into dungeons and participate in turn-based combat. Characters have unique skills and abilities as well as personalities that players will discover over the course of the game’s story.
