About the Author

Tarak Chami, the creator of A Hideo Kojima Book: Tomorrow is in Your Hands, is from Berlin, Germany. After a successful Kickstarter campaign with the help of 248 backers, Chami launched one of his dreams as well as one of his books.

Chami told DualShockers that “my greatest pride in this project was that all continents were represented. Bringing together people from all backgrounds, of all cultures, of all communities is really rewarding.”

Talking about his book a little more, Chami took delight in being the first and biggest community project to not get shut down by Konami and also what it meant to him to get as many people from every walks of life connecting as one:

“It was very important to build a community project like “A Hideo Kojima Book” with every kind of people involved, from all around the world and without any sexuality, skin colours, religious differences. I’m glad to see that we became a small family where everybody supports each other.”

Where to buy ‘A Hideo Kojima Book’

Due to the success of the Kickstarter, Chami is now releasing and reprinting 100 issues of the 2nd edition. The book will come signed and numbered also. As it’s Chami’s birthday tomorrow, April 4, he states that he will be adding four special packs to celebrate it.

The Hideo Kojima book will also include a copy of “A Yoji Shinkawa Book” which focuses on Yoji Shinkawa, the lead character and mecha designer for the Metal Gear franchise. The smaller book is packed full of guest illustrations in the spirit of Shinkawa’s iconic style.
