Dead by Daylight has officially made its way to consoles, but the game has been out on PC for over a year. Behaviour Digital felt it was important to point that out and make note of how far the game has come because of its fans.

In the video below, Behaviour shows off all of the new content that has come to the game since its initial release, but the video never loses sight of its primary goal: to thank fans for being so supportive of the title over the course of its first year following release.

Although the game only just released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Dead by Daylight has already sold over 1.8 million copies worldwide. It seems Behaviour Digital certainly does have a lot to be grateful for.

In Dead by Daylight, players take part in an asymmetrical multiplayer arena in which four Survivors must escape the clutches of one crazed Killer. Survivors play through the game in third-person, allowing them to have a naturally stronger awareness of their surroundings in order to better avoid the Killer. The Killer, played in first-person, must hunt down each victim before they can achieve their goal of escaping the Killing Ground either together or alone.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game’s console release features both digital and physical versions, but if you nab one of the physical copies, you’ll be getting a little more for your $29.99. Dead by Daylight’s European console release will be on June 23.

Recently, a new pack of DLC came to Dead by Daylight’s PC version, featuring cosmetic additions to the game’s characters. The DLC is titled The Headcase and it is currently available on Steam for $2.99.
