A new Resident Evil-themed chapter is on its way to the popular survival horror game Dead By Daylight.
Today, a big update has arrived for the latest DBD PTB (player test build) which will definitely make the game more interesting.
For anyone who has already tried the Resident Evil 2 or 3 remakes, this update is going to be quite familiar. That’s because the newest Killer in DBD is Nemesis from RE3 who will be joined by two new Survivors.
So, here’s the complete patch notes for the 5.0.0 PTB update which is currently live.

DBD PTB Patch Notes May 25
Given below are some of the major features and changes that are coming to the PTB. You can find the full list of 5.0.0 DBD PTB patch notes right here.
Features:
As discussed above, we will get to see a new Killer, that is, The Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. Two new Survivors are also being added to the game — Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy.
This time, we will also get to see a new map called the Raccoon Police Department.
Improved Tutorials:
A few changes have been made to make it easier for players to get into the Tutorial. On completion of the Tutorial, players will receive new rewards.
In addition to this, Tutorials will now include single-player Tutorial Bot Matches to help teach the basics to new players before they dive into the real game.
There will be more descriptive tooltips in the lobby and match results screens to guide new players. Meanwhile, the veteran players will continue to see the simplified tooltips. However, this can setting can be toggled on/off in the Settings menu.
Settings Menu Update :
The Settings are now grouped in separate category tabs which makes it easier to find them.
