Darkest Dungeon: “The Color of Madness” will be releasing on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and iPad on October 11, 2018 for $4.99 USD. At the same time, “The Musketeer” DLC and a large game balance patch that has been live on PC since June will be will be released for free on those platforms.

“The Color of Madness” was released on June 19, 2018 for Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms and is still set to be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The DLC has yet to clear certification on those platforms and so no release date is able to be given as of their announcement. Storefront pages for “The Color of Madness” is now live on Switch and Xbox One consoles.

Those who purchase The Ancestral Bundle digitally before October 11 will need to buy “The Color of Madness” separately. However those who purchase it after that date will have “The Color of Madness” included in their package. For those who own The Ancestral Bundle physically for Switch you will receive “The Color of Madness” for free as part of the same update that brings “The Mustakeer” DLC and game balance patch. Currently developer Red Hook Games is hoping this update will clear certification in time for release on October 11, but do not currently know if that will happen.

Lastly, The Ancestor DOTA 2 Announcer Pack will go live October 2, 2018 for $9.99 and introduces 715 lines from voice actor Wayne June as The Ancestor narrating your DOTA 2 matches. A sample of this audio pack can be found in Red Hook’s update on their website.

Darkest Dungeon is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, iPad, PC, Mac, and Linux and will be on sale for two weeks starting on October 11.
