The latest episode of Night City Wire went live a few hours ago, focusing on the lifepaths you can choose before starting your journey in Cyberpunk 2077, and revealing different types of weapons you can use in the game.

In Cyberpunk 2077, your journey could start in three different locations with various backgrounds and abilities. As the first option, you can start the game as a Nomad, living miles away from Night City in a dangerous desert called Badlands. Family is the most important thing for Nomads as they learn to live together in clans from childhood.

The second option is Street Kid. As a low-life Night City resident, you know every corner of the city better than anyone. Street Kids have a great knowledge of various gangs around the city, which can provide them new options to negotiate with other characters during tough situations.

Finally, you can choose to be corporate-man. Working as an employee in Arasaka, you will get to learn many secrets about high-profile people in Night City. Being an Arasaka member will allow you to meet different personalities and make strong connections with them.

Each one of the lifepaths will give you some unique possibilities in gameplay. As an example, you might have a new key option in your dialogues as a Street Kid while negotiating with the Maelstrom gang rather than playing as a Nomad.

Later in the show, we get to know about the main gun classes in the game. Tech Weapons, Power Weapons, and Smart Weapons are three types of guns you can use in Cyberpunk 2077. While the first one features weapons with the high-tech software allowing you to shoot through the walls and other sturdy objects, the second one is filled with heavy guns like shotguns and machine guns that can tear the enemies apart with just a few shots. Finally, the third class is a collective of cutting-edge guns that uses a smart tracking system. Simply put, you don’t need to aim accurately with Smart Guns as the bullets will be detecting the enemies on their own.

Aside from the three classes above, there’s also a dedicated class for melee weapons that includes Mantis Blades, Thermal Katana, and other deadly weapons.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 19. Over the previous episode of Night City Wire, we learned about Braindance, an interesting in-game feature allowing you to revisit past events.
