JRPG fans probably won’t miss this one. Even if you don’t have any interest in Japanese role-playing games, you can’t deny the aesthetics lying behind the art style of Cris Tales. Today, Modus Games revealed that this gorgeous piece of art is set to be released in July 2021. The exact release date will be revealed in the coming months.

As usual, the release date announcement is accompanied with a new trailer showing more of Cris Tales. An era-bending JRPG in which you are going to control time and use your power in the three past, present, and future eras to defeat your enemies and save the world from the evils. Here you can take a look at the latest trailer of the game:

Playing as Crisbell, you will have a one-of-a-kind ability in controlling time and shaping up the past, present, and future of the humanity. Explore a wonderful world full of beautiful locations to discover and dangerous risks to take, go through an emotional story with incredible visuals, and make evils regret from their invasion to the Crystallis’ kingdoms.

Originally announced back in 2019, Cris Tales is already an anticipated launch of this year for the JRPG fans. The game is being developed by Syck and Dreams Uncorporated studios and will be published by Modus Games for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.

Modus Games currently has a bunch of big and small projects from multiple teams around the world that are supposed to be published this year. The company recently revealed Rustler, a top-down GTA-style game set in the middle ages.
