Two of gaming’s most recognizable characters from the mid-1990s have joined forces to pack all the early 3D platforming action a person could possibly ask for under one roof with the Spyro + Crash Remastered Game Bundle.

Spyro + Crash Remastered Game Bundle catalogs the adventures of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon who both shot to fame on the original PlayStation. Crash celebrated a massive comeback in the summer of 2017 with the release of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This compilation saw his first three major outings reworked and remastered for a new generation.

Following the massive success of Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro the adorable little purple dragon also received a heavy rework to his original titles. Spyro the Dragon: Reignited Trilogy saw the same level of love and care taken with Spyro’s early adventures as we’d previously seen with Crash Bandicoot’s.

Both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon are gaming legends in their own rights with each character spawning a number of titles across multiple generations of consoles. Although they are very different in many ways, they also compliment each other and work well together in a bundle setting such as this.

The trailer below is enough to whet the nostalgic thirst for anyone who’d like to experience the origins of these old platforming icons once again. It has also got enough pulling power to appeal to new players who may want to acquaint themselves with these characters for the first time.

With six games on offer, Spyro + Crash Remastered Game Bundle is bursting at the seams with 1990s charm. Crash’s cheeky antics and rebellious attitude throughout Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is mirrored by the perpetually sassy shenanigans of Spyro in Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

The whopping bundle is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
