There’s something about cosplayers that draws a captive audience. It’s probably the image of seeing your favorite character in a video game you love brought to life and the sheer passion, sweat, and determination ( let’s not forget money here, too ) that person has put into looking like someone else, either through a hobby or as a full-time career. It’s to be admired immensely, so when I found some cosplay pictures of Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey on Reddit, I had to know a little more.

A Reddit user who goes by the name of u/kamalarkey  posted a picture of Msskunk, as she is known on Instagram, in full Kassandra gear even right down to the facial blood smears and that all too familiar Kassandra scowl. With Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey receiving amazing reviews when it first released last year on October 5 as well as having it’s newest DLC Legacy of the First Blade brought to the game which sees players following the story of Darius, the first assassin to wield the famous hidden blade – it’s no surprise to see cosplayers wanting to participate in this title.

Msskunk’s talents as Kassandra don’t just stop there as it’s merely the tip of the iceberg in her cosplaying showcase. She also takes on the persona of some fearless, ass-kicking women that you might know from games you have played that include –  Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, Ciri from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Chloe Frazier from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Sadie Alder from Red Dead Redemption 2. You can check out some of these characters she cosplays as in pictures below, but for a full list, you can jump over to msskunk’s Instagram page.

Although cosplaying isn’t something new with many people for years dressing up as someone they admire or who they just really like how they look, but it seems that lately, it has gathered a lot more steam. In the past year here at DualShockers we have seen anything from the Overwatch cosplay battle, which saw partakers from all over Europe donning their chosen crafted outfit and bringing their hero to life where the community will then cast their vote on who comes out the top, to a beautiful Bayonetta cosplay by highly skilled cosplayer and gamer Oniksiya Sofinikum.

I can only hope that this cosplay train keeps on traveling down the tracks as it’s wonderful to see so many different people from all over the world come together as one in the name of video game passion.

If you would like to help Msskunk on her cosplay journey, as I mentioned before it is a very expensive hobby to make and buy materials for these many outfits – you can head over to her support page.
