It’s finally here chums — hit city-builder/management game Cities: Skylines from developer Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive is available on PS4.

Cities: Skylines needs little introduction. It first hit back in early 2015 on PC, Mac, and Linux and notably sold over one million copies in just its first month, taking fully advantage of the space in the city-builder genre left behind by the decline of SimCity. As of earlier this year,  the game has sold an impressive 3.5 million copies and has arrived on Xbox One. And now the most successful Paradox Interactive title ever is finally on PS4.

Just like the Xbox One version, the PS4 edition of Cities: Skylines will include the core game and the After Dark expansion, the first official expansion that adds tourism and nightlife options. As for the game’s other expansions — Snowfall, Natural Disasters, and Mass Transit — they’re not included and not for sale.

The console port has once again been handled by Tantalus Media, the same team who did the Xbox One port. Below, you can can check out an official overview of the PS4 edition of the game via Paradox Interactive:

Cities: Skylines – PlayStation®4 Edition puts you in charge of a growing city – from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of citizens. Design, build, and manage the city of your dreams, from public services to civic policies, and challenge yourself to grow from a simple town to a bustling metropolitan hub.

Main Features:

Build the city of your dreams: Plan road networks, bus lines and parks. Bring on a smog-filled industrial revolution or create a quiet beach town ideal for tourists powered by renewable energy. Bring education, healthcare and safety to your citizens. Build it your way!

Multi-tiered and challenging simulation: Playing as the mayor of your city, you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, firefighting, healthcare and much more, along with your city’s economy. Citizens within your city react fluidly, keeping you on your toes with ever-evolving demands.

Extensive local traffic simulation: Managing traffic and the needs of your citizens to work and play will require the use of several interactive transport systems – use careful road planning alongside buses, trains, subways, and much more.

Districts and policies: Be more than just another city hall official! Create a car-free downtown area, assign free public transport to your waterfront, or ban pets in suburbia. Designate parts of your city as a district in order to set policy at the local level, and give different parts of town their own personalities.

After Dark included: Watch your city become an entirely different place at night: a day-night cycle will have your citizens seeking out places to unwind after work. Add in new policies and zones to create popular hotspots and provide enough taxis and trains to get to and from the clubs!

Cities: Skylines costs $39.99 USD on PS4. Below, you can check out the new, aforementioned launch trailer:
