Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order’s Cities: Skylines is still going really strong over 3 years after launch receiving new expansions every few months, selling over 5 million copies on PC alone and hitting every current-gen console. Today, the aforementioned developer and publisher duo unveiled the last expansion, Cities: Skylines – Industries, which will actually be releasing later this month.

Cities: Skylines – Industries will be hitting PC, Mac, and Linux on October 23, and is described as “one of the most in-depth expansions in Cities: Skylines history.” As the expansion’s title suggests, Industries thoroughly deepens how industry works within Cities: Skylines. The expansion will let players not only build tons of new industrial buildings but will also let them control the supply chain and level it up in order to become more efficient.

Additionally, Cities: Skylines – Industries brings mail delivery and collection, three new industry policies, four new city policies, five new maps, and four new hats for Chirper into the mix. Paradox Interactive’s Production Manager Sandra Neudinger showed that the developers are happy to be delivering an expansion with many community requested features:

“With this expansion, players can make more meaningful choices in their cities’ industry by managing their production chains from grain to bread. The players have been asking for an industrial expansion for a while, so we’re excited to finally offer a full-featured approach.”

As with most expansions, Cities: Skylines – Industries will also come alongside a free update on October 23. This update will include the Synthetic Dawn Radio Station, which features 16 new songs, as well as introduce toll booths, custom name lists, and historical building zoning to the game.

You can watch the announcement trailer for the Industries expansion, which launches on October 23, below. Cities: Skylines is currently available for PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and can be picked up right now on Humble Bundle.
