After months and months of anticipation, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta is finally here for PlayStation 4 players. While the beta was originally set to go live just a few minutes ago, late last night developer Treyarch decided to turn on the servers early, at least in North America, which means we’ve been playing since then.

Unfortunately, as previously announced, this weekend of the beta is exclusive to PlayStation 4 players, so Xbox One and PC players aren’t able to try it out. And since we weren’t able to capture any footage at the original May reveal event, we decided to grab some footage for you. So if you want to check out a full game of Team Deathmatch on Payload played by DualShockers resident Call of Duty fan, you can find a video at the end of the article.

Of course, this isn’t the only weekend the Black Ops 4 beta will be available. Starting on Friday, August 10, 2018, players across all platforms will be able to participate. Then, later in September, PlayStation 4 players will be able to try out the new battle royale mode for the game called Blackout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to be released on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If the footage you saw excites you, you can pre-order the game on Amazon by clicking here.
