With the Capcom Pro Tour 2018 all wrapped up and Gachikun crowned as this year’s champion, it’s time to look forward to what 2019 has in store.

During the final moments of the Capcom Cup, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition producer Yoshinori Ono took to the stage to reveal the latest addition to the ever-evolving game; an evil variation of series’ veteran Ryu who represents the character’s dark side. During the announcement, it was also stated that Capcom Pro Tour 2019 will begin at Final Round.

Final Round is a long-running annual event which boasts a wide array of fighting game tournaments. Next year’s event will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 15 until March 17.
