Throughout Call of Duty: WWII’s time on the market, Sledgehammer Games has consistently updated the game with both hotfixes and full-blown patches. Now, the developer is continuing that for the game support with a brand new hotfix that fixes a few small issues.

The biggest change that arrived with the new hotfix is that of a reduction of the VFX for the game’s smoke grenade. Sledgehammer says they arrived at the decision because they felt like it was impeeding gameplay too much.

In addition to that, two minor bugs were also fixed. One that was causing the wrong reward to be displayed on the in-game Attack of the Undead challenge board, while the other was causing the no subtitles to appear in the game’s Nazi Zombies mode.

The hotfix should have been implemented in the game by now, and since it’s a hotfix, it won’t require players to download anything to their console or PC.

Call of Duty: WWII was released late last year and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
