We’ve finally had some details for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone revealed after a YouTuber’s unlisted video has been shared about this morning. The video has since been removed, but while I was working on another news story, I was able to have a nosey nose.

Warzone is the name of Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty Battle Royale mode And as luck would have it, someone on Reddit compiled a list of information from the video. The video comes from YouTuber Chaos, who was one of the Call of Duty YouTubers to be flown out to play the game early.

The map itself is massive as with most Battle Royale games, and it features locations such as Terminal, Scrapyard, Overgrown, and more. There’s a player count of 150 with Solos, Duos, and Trios.  Looting is also present, but for weapons only, meaning there are no hunting attachments unless you nab them from supply drops.

It also looks like we have two game modes, one being Warzone, which is the Battle Royale-style mode, but another seems to be “Plunder” which is a respawn mode focused on earning cash. There are vehicles such as the ATV, SUV, Helicopter, and others. Cash is earned throughout the game and can be spent at Buy Stations to purchase loadouts, killstreaks, and respawn dead teammates.

Teammates can be revived, but dead players are sent to a 1v1 fight in Gulag in order to respawn. Loot also drops from enemies all over the place rather than in a bag or crate. According to the Reddit thread, the game is free-to-play and doesn’t require Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It also includes crossplay and saved progression.

There’s not much else known about when Warzone is due to drop, but Gamesradar has pointed out that advertisements have started to show up on Twitch, meaning it could be on the way very soon.
