Boy, the Blackout news just keeps on coming. Even though the mode was originally added in Tuesday’s 1.11 update, today, developer Treyarch released a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s new Down But Not Out mode.

The short trailer, which clocks in at around 17 seconds long, explains how the mode works, all while showing off some action-packed gameplay. It’s not much, but it got me excited enough to turn on my PS4 and jump right in. You can check out the trailer, like always, at the end of the article.

For those that don’t know, Down But Not Out tasks you and three other players with surviving, however, unlike other battle royale modes, this allows you to respawn, so long as a teammate alive in-game. This respawn feature lasts all the way up until the final circle when respawning is shut off.

It feels a bit weird to say this, but in other Down But Not Out news, today it was seemingly revealed that the former community manager of Treyarch came up with the mode back in November 2018.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
