Well, I have to admit, I didn’t see this one coming at all. After releasing a bunch of teasers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s next major update, earlier today, Treyarch and PlayStation dropped what I would consider a bombshell: at least two new vehicles will be coming to the game’s Blackout mode when the next update drops next Tuesday.

As one can see by the video at the end of the article, two new vehicles, a muscle car and police SUV are making their way into Blackout. Of course, we don’t know any specifics about these vehicles, but judging by the video, it looks like they’ll at least be fast to some degree, as it shows them speeding past the camera, alongside the helicopter and ATV already present in the battle royale mode.

Of course, this would fit with the theming of the next update, which seems to be centered entirely around heists, robberies, and more. Earlier this week it was confirmed that one of the Black Ops Pass maps coming Tuesday will be a police station, while the other one is rumored to be set in a Casino.

According to Activision, this is gearing up to be the biggest Black Ops 4 update yet and they aren’t kidding around. So far, it seems like the update’s going to include new game modes, new multiplayer maps, new and extensive Blackout map updates, new vehicles, and, of course, new weapons and cosmetic items. So far, not much has been announced on the Zombies side of things (besides what appears to be a brand new perk), so it’ll be interesting to see how much undead content we get when the update drops on Tuesday. Right now, there’s a rumor that Black Ops Pass members will be getting a remastered version of Nuketown Zombies, although nothing has been confirmed.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the games on Amazon, you can do so simply by clicking here.
