A little while back, we figured out that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would be getting a brand new weather map variant for one of its original maps titled Arsenal Sandstorm. Now, after what can only be described as a bit of a rough release schedule, Treyarch has confirmed that the map variant is finally available on all platforms thanks to a new update and it brings with it a couple of new snazzy features.

For those that don’t know, the map itself is a version of Arsenal that, as the name suggests, has been overtaken by the desert. Sightlines are convoluted to see through at best and at worst they’re next to impossible to see through, which makes for a pretty unpredictable match. As with all other weather map variants, Arsenal Sandstorm is completely free to all players right now, regardless of platform.

In addition to the new map, Treyarch also released a brand new game mode called Domination Deathmatch. This mode, as you can guess, combines aspects of both Team Deathmatch and Domination. In this, players can both capture areas and get kills to gain points for their team. Because of this, I suspect, fans of both of the aforementioned modes will feel right at home here.

Of course, this isn’t all that was added in today’s update. To check out all Treyarch has to offer, you can check out the official patch notes here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
