When Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launched a few weeks ago, many fans thought that the multiplayer was missing a few extra game modes. Treyarch took those criticisms to heart and, during a huge update, decided to give fans a fan-favorite mode to screw around with for a few days: Gun Game.

For those that don’t know, in Gun Game everybody starts with a pistol. With each kill, players get a new gun until they’ve gone through the pre-selected list of 20, after which they win the match, which can lead to some incredibly intense gunfights.

The mode was originally introduced to the series back in 2010 with Call of Duty: Black Ops, and has been a part of every single entry since in one way, shape, or form, so it shouldn’t really come as a shock that it’s a part of this one.

In addition to Gun Game, the update also introduces a large number of changes to weapons, attachments, specialists, spawns, Blackout, and Zombies. You can check out the full list of changes on Treyarch’s Reddit post, which you can find by clicking here.

Treyarch also released another, albeit small, hotfix, which adds in COD Points to the game. This year, however, fans don’t spend them on Supply Drops. Instead, players can use them on tiers within the game’s Black Market. Each tier seems to cost around 300 COD Points each, meaning you’ll have to buy $4 worth of points just to level up one tier. If you bought the game digitally or if you got a special edition, however, you get at least 1,100 free COD Points, so use them wisely.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
