Since the store debuted in December 2018, the Epic Games Store has had a nifty perk in the form of free games every week for store users. The past few weeks especially have had some big name titles up for grabs, with Borderlands extensive Handsome Collection as the next game you can collect for free.
The Epic Games Store has officially confirmed that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is now available as the next free game, which is available now through June 4. As with previous Epic Games Store freebies, all you have to do to claim The Handsome Collection for yourself is to log into the Epic Games Store and add it to your cart, where it will automatically show up as free.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection was previously leaked a few weeks ago as one of the free titles coming to the Epic Games Store. The leaked image showed that Grand Theft Auto V, Civilization VI, The Handsome Collection, and Ark: Survival Evolved would be the next 4 titles up for grabs on the storefront in the coming weeks. So far, we’re three for three on the leak being accurate, as Grand Theft Auto V and Civilization VI were available earlier this month. With that being the case, it seems inevitable that we’ll see Ark as the next free title on the Epic Games Store starting June 4 after The Handsome Collection.
For those that haven’t played it before, The Handsome Collection includes both Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel!, along with all of their accompanying DLC and expansions since release, which adds up to a hefty amount of content. If you’re new to the series, The Handsome Collection is definitely a great starting point to jump into Borderlands, especially for free.
