Rumors have been swirling on social media over the course of the past day stating that Bloodborne is set to make an arrival on PC and PS5 at some point in the future, which has made many fans quite excited. Now, more information on this planned remaster of the beloved title created by FromSoftware has surfaced, seemingly providing even more details of the new port.

In a new video from YouTube channel PC Gaming Inquisition, it is said that Bluepoint Games and QLOC, who worked on the remaster of Dark Souls, are indeed developing Bloodborne for both PC and the upcoming next-gen platform, the PS5. This new version of the game will bring 4K graphics, 60fps, and on PC, will be made available via Steam, much like the forthcoming PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn

The video also goes on to say that this isn’t the only Sony-exclusive that’s set to make its way to PC, either. While no games specifically were mentioned, this wouldn’t be a shock considering those at Sony itself have said they’re interested in doing such.

Lastly, it is also stated that the upcoming PS5 event, which was recently pushed back from its original airing date, will also contain a reveal for a full-on remake of Demon’s Souls, the first title by FromSoftware that kicked off the Souls-like trend. The game is said to be exclusive to PS5, but no further details were really provided. Considering how long many have guessed that Demon’s Souls would be the next project that Bluepoint would be working on, this isn’t a major surprise by any means, but it’s a very welcome one, assuming it’s true.

Per usual with rumors like this, it’s best to take it with a grain of salt until we hear otherwise directly from Sony. The root source of this video is unknown, as the video from PC Gaming Inquisition didn’t want to oust its source. However, they did seem to go out on a limb by even making this video in the first place and acknowledged they were doing so with the knowledge that this whole thing could backfire on them and ruin their credibility.

It remains to be seen if all of these rumors surrounding Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls turn out to be true, but where there is smoke, there’s typically fire. It seems quite likely that we should hear more about this one way or another in Sony’s upcoming PS5 event, whenever it ends up taking place.
