There are very few fighting game franchises that manage to be both as deep and as visually breath-taking as BlazBlue. It’s safe to assume that you simply couldn’t possibly fit any more content into its jam-packed titles. However, the people at Arc System Works and PQube are ready to prove that they’re up to that very challenge by bringing BlazBlue: Centralfiction – Special Edition to Nintendo Switch.

BlazBlue: Centralfiction – Special Edition will take everything that the original release from 2015 had to offer and bulk it up. The 2D fighter will feature a whopping 36 character roster, all ready to duke it out in a fluidly animated anime art style.

Along with the robust cast of characters including classics such as Noel Vermillion Rachel Alucard, and Ragna the Bloodegdge, the Special Edition of the game which was announced late last year will also feature color variations that were previously only available as DLC.

Outside of its high octane one-on-one fighting, the BlazBlue series is well known for its fully fleshed out and engaging story. BlazBlue: Centralfiction- Special Edition features game’s full story mode in English.

BlazBlue: Centralfiction – Special Edition is scheduled to explode onto Nintendo Switch on February 8, 2019. The standard release of the fast-paced fighter is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
