Today, publisher Kakao Games and developer Pearl Abyss announced the release date on the western servers of the latest expansion of Black Desert OnlineDrieghan.

The update will launch on November 14th, featuring another large mountain-rich landmass, 300 quests, a new storyline featuring the cursed tribe of Sherekhan, a dragon world boss named Garmoth and more.

Below you can read an official description of the expansion:

“Drieghan, also known as the land of dragons and the ancestral home of dwarves is a huge new mountainous area in Black Desert Online offering new story content, quests and challenges. Adventurers will be able to travel to Duvencrune, the capital of Drieghan which shows a variety of environments of an alpine region. New monster areas such as ‘Sherekhan’s Grave’, ‘Blood Wolf Town’, ‘Tshira Ruins’ will be released as well as the new dragon world boss, Garmoth, the Crimson Dragon. Players can also look forward to the Dragon Slayer, a brand new powerful craftable weapon which nearly matches the “Dandelion” weapon.”

As usual for Black Desert Online, the expansion will be completely free for anyone who purchased the game.

Below you can watch a new trailer. If you want to see more you can enjoy an older trailer and screenshots featuring Drieghan. You can also check out a trailer and screenshots of the recent “remastered” update, which improved graphics and music considerably.

The game is already available for PC (and you can read my review, even if a ton of content has been added since), and it will go in beta for Xbox One in the fall.
