Black Desert Holding Final Beta for Xbox One Beginning on Valentines Day

Black Desert, the popular MMO from Korean developer Pearl Abyss, will be getting a final beta on Xbox One from February 14-17, 2019.

For those hoping to spend Valentine’s day with a loved one, or alone, you can now push those plans aside in favor of spending hours creating the perfect custom character in Black Desert‘s beta on Xbox One.

From the first beta, we were amazed by the amount of feedback, positivity and general dedication to Black Desert Xbox. Our goal was always to get Black Desert on the Xbox for our fans, and you guys constantly make all the work we’ve poured into the game worth it. So as we near the release of Black Desert, we’re going to be holding one more beta so that you guys can get your feet wet!

Black Desert will launch in full on March 4, 2019 for Xbox One. For those who have downloaded and kept the previous beta data you will need to download the updated version as the old one will no longer connect to their servers. The start time and end time for each region is detailed in the image below, simply put you can start at 12:00 AM Pacific until 11:59 PM Pacific on Sunday, February 17, 2018.

Some new features will be added to this final beta in comparison to the old one. Those include:

●Trading has been added
●Photo mode has been enabled
●Motion Blur turned down
●Looting time reduced from 1 second to 0.2 seconds
●Chat can be turned off
●All quest bugs from beta 1 have been fixed

This beta will also feature a Node War test. Node Wars is a PvP mode in which players who are part of guilds will build forts and fight each other for control in a large region. You will need to have joined a guild beforehand in order to participate in this mode.

Anyone can participate in the final beta, just download the Black Desert Final Beta form the Microsoft Store onto your Xbox One and have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. The level cap will be 40 and all six launch classes will be available to play with. Feel free to stream and share video of the beta and Pearl Abyss will be giving away a copy of the game throughout February as part of a Standard Bundle Givewaway.

You can expect Black Desert to release on Xbox One on March 4, 2019 with pre-orders currently live. You can check out some footage of the game running on Xbox One X.
