Let’s take a minute to discuss amazing cosplay. There are definitely instances where people put a ton of work into their favorite characters, and look great doing it. However, sometimes we see others take it to a new level — effectively becoming the character. And new cosplay of BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea‘s noir version of Elizabeth is the best ever attempted.

If you thought the featured image was straight out of the remastered version of BioShock Infinite for current gen consoles, you’d be in good company — I had to double check to make sure this wasn’t just a high-render version of the fan-favorite character. However, the photo comes from Moscow-based cosplayer Kalinka Fox (shared with us by reader the pseudokings):

If you don’t remember this scene, or never played the noir-based BioShock Infinite DLC, here is a quick comparison shot from the game:

And if that isn’t talent, I don’t know what is.

However, Kalinka Fox is most certainly a pro. Her portfolio is full of other amazing gaming-related cosplay, including a semi-revealing 2B from NieR: Automata:

If anything comes out of this, it is really my mild depression that we haven’t seen anything in the BioShock universe in a minute. Following the closing of Irrational Games in 2014, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnck said that the series “is unquestionably a permanent franchise for our company and one that we do believe in.” However, outside of BioShock: The Collection — the PC, PS4, and Xbox One remaster of the trilogy — we haven’t heard anything to be excited about. That doesn’t mean that rumors aren’t flying around… BioShock Infinite designer Shawn Elliott recently returned to 2K Games to work on an unannounced project, so perhaps we can keep our fingers crossed.

Of course, Kalinsky Fox is far from the only amazing cosplayer in the scene — make sure you check out the Nico cosplay from Devil May Cry 5, or the amazing Futaba get-up.

BioShock Infinite is available via BioShock: The Collection on PC, PS4, and Xbox One — if you haven’t picked up the game, you can grab it now on Amazon. Additionally, make sure to check out Kalinsky Fox’s other work (which is occasionally lewd), including her dedicated Patreon and Twitter account.
