In a report from Gamesindustry.biz, Ubisoft will be making the Discovery Tour modes in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Origins free for one week on Uplay. The Discovery Tours will be available for free from May 15 to the 21st as a part of Ubisoft’s Play Your Part, Play at Home campaign.

“With millions of children experiencing upheaval to their studies right now, and teachers forced to adapt their lessons to digital tools, people are seeking new and enriching ways to learn,” says Etienne Allonier, brand director for Assassin’s Creed. “We’re really proud of the Discovery Tours and their capacity to make history accessible, immersive, and fun.”

Discovery Tours for Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece will be available as standalone experiences. For those that don’t know, the discovery tours offer players the chance to get guided tours to help them learn about the ancient locations the games take place in. The Discovery Tour for Ancient Egypt was available in 2017’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins while Ancient Greece was a part of 2018’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Additionally, both Discovery Tours won’t have time limits or combat for players to worry about.

If that’s not enough Assassin’s Creed news for you, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla was shown off during last week’s Inside Xbox. Following the new trailer, Ubisoft confirmed the game would run at least 30 FPS on the Xbox Series X. Additionally, for those that want to get more out of Valhalla after it launches, the game’s season pass will include an exclusive Beowulf mission titled “The Legacy of Beowulf.”

Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece will be available on Uplay till the 21st.
