“Do you wish to become a God?” the new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey‘s second DLC “The Fate of Atlantis” asks. That question appears to shape the DLC’s narrative as developer Ubisoft is looking to dig deep into Greek mythology for this release. Check out the trailer below.

The scope shown in the footage looks appropriately epic. This looks like a follow-up on the “Curse of the Pharaohs” DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which also dealt with the supernatural aspects of the culture’s mythology, in that case Ancient Egypt. If the team at Ubisoft can bring that same gusto to this send-up of Greek myth, fans are sure to have a great time.

The trailer shows off a number of striking locales that players will fight through. From a lush mountainous valley to a mind-bending mirrored bridge, the other-worldly nature of Greek mythology is on display throughout. We also get a look at a Cerberus (a three-headed dog), which is known as the “hound of Hades”.

Hades is likely the pasty skinned man seen in the trailer who talks about the Underworld. It looks like he might be proposing that the two of you team up, but that’s not certain. We also get a short shot of man who could be Zeus and it would not be surprising if one of the women in the trailer is Athena or Hera. Either way, the Greek Gods seem to feature heavily in the story.

The Fate of Atlantis arc will span three episodes, beginning with Fields of Elysium, which releases next week. The next two episodes will be coming out later in 2019, with each episode spaced about six weeks apart.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The first episode for The Fate of Atlantis launches on April 23, 2019.
