Apex Legends is ramping up to the start of its eighth season, which means it’s time for some new trailers to hit. Today, we got our first look at the new Legend coming to the hit battle royale via the latest Stories From the Outland video. If you haven’t had a chance, give it a look below. It doesn’t show Fuse in action, but it does delve into his backstory and give you an idea of who this wild man is.

Of course, most Apex Legends fans are probably holding out for a better look at Fuse in-game. Knowing he exists is one thing, but people want to actually know what comes with his kit. That video should be coming in the next few days though. So, don’t fret too much.

Outside of Fuse, we know that Apex is getting a brand new gun. The 30-30 Repeater is a lever-action rifle that is sure to pack a punch. It’s going to come at the expense of your fire rate, but players who excel at placing shots will likely love how this gun feels. As expected, we’ll also get a new battle pass and the start of the eighth season in ranked play. No hints just yet at what cosmetics to expect in the new battle pass, but again, that info will come in time.

Apex Legends is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you haven’t given it a try yet, now seems like a good time to give it a go. You’ll have a few weeks to get your legs under you before season eight kicks off.
