Last week, Annapurna Interactive surprised and excited tons of fans when they announced that they would be creating a port of The Fullbright Company’s critically acclaimed game Gone Home and that it would be hitting on August 23, 2018. Unfortunately, it seems like that’s no longer the case, as the publisher has revealed that the port has been officially delayed to September 6, 2018.
Annapurna Interactive made the quick announcement via their official Twitter account, which you can check out at the end of the article. While the publisher didn’t reveal the exact reason as to why the port was slightly delayed, they did reveal that there may be some other news related to the title released on the day, so fans can look forward to that.
Gone Home is a first-person exploration game originally released back in 2013. In it, you play as Katie as she explores what appears to be an abandoned house.
If you don’t want to wait for the game’s Switch release, you can also pick up the game on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
FYI: @GoneHomeGame for Nintendo Switch will now launch on September 6th in North America and Europe. We might have some additional news to share then, so stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/RN8LirDuSl
