Amy, who first appeared as a playable character in Soulcalibur III, is joining the roster of the latest entry in the series, Soulcalibur VI, as the game’s next DLC character. Bandai Namco revealed the character at EVO Japan alongside a new trailer. You can check it out for yourself down below.
As the adopted daughter of Raphael, Amy wields a rapier-style weapon similar to her father. She’s now the third character that’s a part of the Soulcalibur VI season pass, following Nier: Automata’s 2B and returning character Tira. As of right now, Amy has no set release date but the game’s producer, Motohiro Okubo, assured fans that she’d be joining the fight as soon as possible.
Some early data mining leaks suggested that both Amy and Cassandra would be the last two upcoming DLC characters. It now looks like this could certainly be the case. Additionally, Bandai Namco also announced that they’d be releasing a character customization pack next week on February 19. It’ll include 67 new creation parts as well as 28 background music tracks from both Soul Edge and Soulcalibur.
If you’re interested at all in any of the upcoming or currently available downloadable content for Soulcalibur VI, the game’s season pass is available on all platforms for $29.99. Individual character packs and customization packs can be purchased separately if you’d like to acquire them that way.
Soulcalibur VI is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you haven’t already, you can check out our review of the game.
